Editorial policy and corrections

Sources before slogans

Scriptural references should identify the text and verse or section, with the translator or edition where relevant. A source link allows the reader to inspect the wording and context. When an attribution cannot be verified, we do not present it as a verified quotation.

Quotation, paraphrase and reflection

A quotation preserves the source wording. A paraphrase summarises meaning in new words and is labelled as such. A modern reflection is our own practical application, not an addition to scripture. Different commentaries may reach different interpretations; naming an edition does not make it representative of every tradition.

Creative work and AI

AI tools may assist writing, images, audio and video. Creative depictions of sacred figures are devotional illustrations. They are not documentary footage. Original songs are not described as ancient scripture unless their actual source supports that description. We do not claim a human scholarly review where none has occurred.

Corrections

Send a correction to connect@dharmainyou.com with the page address, the disputed wording and a source where possible. We assess the evidence and correct confirmed errors. A material change to a guide should receive an updated date and a short explanation where it helps the reader understand the correction.

Advertising and independence

Read our advertising and sponsorship policy, including placement standards and how to report an unsuitable advertisement.

This version of the site has no AdSense advertising installed. If advertising or paid partnerships are introduced, they should be distinguishable from editorial content. Payment must not be represented as scriptural authority, and readers should never be encouraged to click adverts to support the project.

Respect and boundaries

We avoid sectarian attacks, partisan campaigning, invented citations and unsupported promises of healing, wealth or supernatural outcomes. Spiritual reflection belongs alongside responsible action and care for others.
