Context, Sanskrit and lesson transcript

Duryodhana ends this part of his speech with an instruction to the commanders.

अयनेषु च सर्वेषु यथाभागमवस्थिताः।
भीष्ममेवाभिरक्षन्तु भवन्तः सर्व एव हि॥११॥

Brief meaning, in our own words. He tells those stationed in their assigned places to protect Bhishma.

The scene moves from description to direction. The next verse returns to Sanjaya’s account of what happens.

Here is our everyday reflection. In a shared task, make responsibilities clear. Today, clarify one small responsibility and ask whether someone needs help carrying it.
